Privacy Policy

Code Cademy ("we") runs an online English school for children, teens and adults. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have.

1. Data we collect

Account data: name, email address, password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider), role (student, parent, teacher) and club.
Learning data: books opened, exam answers and scores, certificates, homework answers and grades, attendance, teacher notes and booked Zoom sessions.
Messages: messages exchanged between students, parents and teachers inside the dashboard.
Plan requests: the plan chosen, payment method and status. We never see or store card numbers — payments happen on the payment provider's own secure page (e.g. Tamara or a card payment page).
Technical data: your language choice is saved in your browser.

2. Why we use it

To run your account and lessons, show progress, issue certificates and let parents follow their children.
To confirm payments and activate plans.
To send service messages such as password-reset emails and class announcements.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Children

Students under 18 should create their account with a parent or guardian's knowledge. Parents can link to their child's account with the child's code to follow progress and talk to teachers. Teachers can mark messages as visible only to parents and teachers.

4. Who can see what

Students see their own club's materials and their own results.
Parents see only the children they have linked.
Teachers and Code Cademy administrator see students' learning data to teach and support them.

5. Where data is stored

Data is stored with our database and hosting providers (Supabase for accounts and files; GitHub Pages for the website; Zoom for live classes). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security commitments.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account and learning data while the account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time; we may keep payment records for as long as the law requires.

7. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, in line with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). Contact us on WhatsApp +966 53 884 0330.

8. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the dashboard.

سياسة الخصوصية

تدير Code Cademy («نحن») منصة إنجليزي أونلاين للأطفال والمراهقين والكبار. توضح هذه السياسة البيانات الشخصية التي نجمعها ولماذا، والخيارات المتاحة لك.

١. البيانات التي نجمعها

بيانات الحساب: الاسم والبريد الإلكتروني وكلمة المرور (مخزّنة مشفّرة لدى مزوّد تسجيل الدخول) والدور (طالب، ولي أمر، معلم) والنادي.
بيانات التعلّم: الكتب التي فُتحت، وإجابات ونتائج الامتحانات، والشهادات، وإجابات الواجبات ودرجاتها، والحضور، وملاحظات المعلم، وحصص Zoom المحجوزة.
الرسائل: الرسائل المتبادلة بين الطلاب وأولياء الأمور والمعلمين داخل لوحة التحكم.
طلبات الخطط: الخطة المختارة وطريقة الدفع والحالة. لا نرى ولا نخزّن أرقام البطاقات أبداً — يتم الدفع على صفحة مزوّد الدفع الآمنة (مثل تمارا أو صفحة الدفع بالبطاقة).
بيانات تقنية: يُحفظ اختيار اللغة في متصفحك.

٢. لماذا نستخدمها

لتشغيل حسابك ودروسك وعرض التقدّم وإصدار الشهادات وتمكين أولياء الأمور من متابعة أبنائهم.
لتأكيد المدفوعات وتفعيل الخطط.
لإرسال رسائل الخدمة مثل رسائل استعادة كلمة المرور وإعلانات الحصص.

لا نبيع البيانات الشخصية ولا نستخدمها للإعلانات.

٣. الأطفال

يجب أن يُنشئ الطالب الذي يقل عمره عن ١٨ عاماً حسابه بعلم ولي أمره. يمكن لولي الأمر ربط حسابه بحساب ابنه بالكود الخاص به لمتابعة التقدّم والتواصل مع المعلمين، ويمكن للمعلم جعل الرسالة مرئية لولي الأمر والمعلمين فقط.

٤. من يرى ماذا

يرى الطالب مواد ناديه ونتائجه فقط.
يرى ولي الأمر الأبناء الذين ربطهم فقط.
يرى المعلمون ومدير Code Cademy بيانات التعلّم لتدريس الطلاب ودعمهم.

٥. أين تُخزَّن البيانات

تُخزَّن البيانات لدى مزوّدي قاعدة البيانات والاستضافة (Supabase للحسابات والملفات، وGitHub Pages للموقع، وZoom للحصص المباشرة)، ويعالجونها نيابةً عنا وفق التزاماتهم الأمنية.

٦. مدة الاحتفاظ

نحتفظ ببيانات الحساب والتعلّم طالما الحساب نشط. يمكنك طلب حذف حسابك وبياناته في أي وقت، وقد نحتفظ بسجلات الدفع للمدة التي يتطلبها القانون.

٧. حقوقك

يحق لك طلب الاطلاع على بياناتك أو تصحيحها أو حذفها وفق نظام حماية البيانات الشخصية في المملكة العربية السعودية. تواصل معنا على واتساب ‎+966 53 884 0330.

٨. التعديلات

عند تعديل هذه السياسة سنحدّث التاريخ أعلاه، وسنبلغك داخل لوحة التحكم بالتغييرات المهمة.
